Join Lalela’s Brunch Benefit in NYC

March 31, 2022

Lalela’s Annual Benefit is back in person!

This year, Lalela will be holding a Brunch Benefit on Sunday, May 15th in NYC.

We are thrilled to gather once again with our community to celebrate our students and the impact Lalela has on the at-risk children and families that we work with in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Please join Andrea Kerzner and Sandy Tabatznik together with our Host Committee and Lalela Boards for a South African-inspired afternoon from 12pm EDT at Malibu Farm, located at 89 South Street, New York, NY 10038. The event promises to be a unique and memorable occasion with beautiful artwork and performances, including Morris Goldberg and Ojoyo.

Funds raised will enable Lalela to continue providing psychosocial services for children, joyfulness through the arts, and a way for learners to further develop life skills and academics that will help them excel in life after Covid-19.

This year’s event will be smaller than previous Lalela Benefits, so please be sure to reserve your tickets at your earliest convenience. If you are unable to attend in-person and would like to make a contribution and donate your tickets back to Lalela, we would be most appreciative.

We hope to see you there!

*Note that we are closely monitoring the pandemic and will proceed in the safest possible way for the Lalela community. The event will adhere to CDC guidelines and the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s Key to NYC policies.
