Don’t miss Lalela’s Youth Day Entrepreneurship Expo taking  place on 17 June 2024 at Kronendal Primary School Hall in Hout Bay! This event is a celebration of all young entrepreneurs and is a platform to showcase their products and services as well as to network with peers and customers on Youth Day.

  • Time: Doors open at 10:00 AM and the event concludes at 14:00 PM

The Lalela Youth Day Entrepreneurship Expo will feature young entrepreneurs presenting diverse products and services for sale. We invite you to attend the market and support these young entrepreneurs, who are the next generation of business leaders. In addition to the marketplace, the event will include live entertainment and a panel discussion with prominent local business leaders, including Lalela alumni Wonga Lucas and Simphiwe Bendle, Black Girls Rising’s Shingi West as well as the respected Hardy McQeen. These experts will share invaluable insights and advice, providing both guidance and inspiration to the young entrepreneurs in attendance.

“This expo is a celebration of youth innovation and creativity,” explains Lalela’s Executive Director Firdous Hendricks. “We are excited to provide a space where young entrepreneurs can shine, connect with potential customers, and learn from experienced business leaders. It’s a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together and support our future leaders.”
