Our 2023 Brunch Benefit Gallery

May 3, 2023

Lalela’s annual Brunch Benefit, which took place in New York in April, was a bold, bright and stylish affair filled with African-style warmth and wonderful music. Lalela co-founders Andrea Kerzner and Sandy Tabatznik along with our Host Committee were delighted to welcome so many friends in celebration of our educational arts programme and students.

One of Lalela’s highlights of the year is without a doubt our annual fundraiser in New York, where we meet up with friends old and new, to celebrate the children in our programmes and Lalela’s impact in the communities and schools where we work. One thing we know for sure is that we would not be able to make the impact we do without the generosity of our incredible circle of supporters! Our deepest gratitude goes out to all who were able to join us, as well as to those who could not attend but still pledged with such open hearts!

The intimate event was held at Malibu Farm with guests enjoying a delicious brunch menu along with rousing performances by the ever fabulous Morris Goldberg and Ojoyo, and featuring the magnificent Lesedi Ntsane.

Funds raised will enable Lalela to continue providing psychosocial services for children, joyfulness through the arts, and a way for learners to further develop essential life skills and academics to help them excel in life.
